Caring for Your Fursuit

Store your head on a wig head or foam form to keep its shape, in a breathable bag away from direct sunlight and heat. Never crush or compress the fur for long periods.

Gently brush the fur with a pet slicker brush in the direction it lies after each wear to keep it soft and tidy.

After wearing, lightly mist the inside with a diluted water-and-alcohol mix to freshen it, then let it air dry completely.

For small marks, spot-clean with a cloth and a little diluted mild detergent. Avoid soaking the head, as the foam base should not get fully wet.

Always air dry. Never tumble dry or use direct high heat, which can damage the fur and foam.

Use a dedicated suit bag, and carry the head separately to protect its shape.
