By commissioning Lumiseed or purchasing from our shop, you agree to the following terms. Please read them in full before placing an order. These terms exist to protect both you and our team and to keep every commission smooth and fair.
All custom commissions begin with a quote request. Prices vary depending on character complexity, fur, and add-ons. A slot is only secured once your deposit (or full payment, where applicable) is received. Slots are first-come, first-served. We reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason.
All prices are listed in GBP (£). Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout. Items under £500 (e.g. paws, tails, and other accessories): full payment is required upfront; deposits and payment plans are not available for these items. Items £500 and above: a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your slot, and the remaining 50% is due once your commission is completed, before shipping. Your finished item will not be shipped until the full balance has been paid.
Estimated production time is currently around 10 to 13 weeks from the time your slot begins. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. Delays may occur due to material availability, complexity, or circumstances outside our control. We will keep you updated throughout. Delays caused by slow communication or late measurements from the customer may extend your timeline.
You must provide a clear character reference (ideally a multi-view reference sheet) showing all desired features. DTD is not required. Measurement requirements vary by item: for heads, please provide head height and head circumference; for shoes, please provide your shoe size; for full suits, we will send you a full suit size list with over ten body measurements to complete. We are not responsible for fit issues caused by inaccurate measurements provided by the customer.
We send work-in-progress (WIP) photos at key stages. Major design elements are confirmed with you before we proceed. Please respond promptly to approval requests.
Minor adjustments during production are usually fine. Major changes after work has begun (e.g. species, color scheme, base structure) may incur additional fees and extend the timeline.
Deposits are non-refundable, as they reserve your slot and cover initial materials. Once production has begun, payments made are non-refundable, as they cover reserved time, materials, and completed work. We reserve the right to cancel a commission if communication breaks down or these terms are violated.
We mainly ship to the following regions: the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada, the United States, Australia, Japan, and Singapore. For other regions, please message us in advance so we can confirm logistics arrangements. Customs fees, import duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Once shipped, we are not responsible for carrier delays, loss, or damage, though we will assist with claims where possible.
Fursuits are delicate, handmade items. You are responsible for following our Care Guide. Improper storage, washing, or handling may damage the suit.
We reserve the right to photograph and share finished work on our website and social media for promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing before completion.
You are welcome to resell your suit. We ask that you credit Lumiseed as the maker and do not present the work as your own creation.
Filing a fraudulent chargeback after receiving WIP updates or your finished item is considered theft and will be disputed with evidence.
By placing a deposit or completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
