Question 1

How do I commission a fursuit?

Accepted Answer

Start by submitting a quote request through our Commissions page. We'll discuss your character, fur, and add-ons, then send you a quote. Your slot is secured once your deposit (or full payment, for smaller items) is received.

Question 2

Are commissions open right now?

Accepted Answer

Our current status is always shown on the homepage and Commissions page. If we're closed, follow us on Instagram or TikTok (@LumiSeed) to hear about the next opening.

Question 3

Do you make my exact character?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We work from your reference sheet. Please provide a clear, multi-view reference showing all the features you want.

Question 4

What styles do you make?

Accepted Answer

We specialise in Kemono and Toony style fursuits — heads, partials, and full suits, plus paws, feet, and tails.

Question 5

How much does a fursuit cost?

Accepted Answer

Prices depend on complexity. As a guide: Full suits from £2,000, Heads from £1,000, Mini partials from £1,580, Feet from £220, Paws from £80, Tails from £80. All prices are in GBP (£).

Question 6

Do you offer payment plans?

Accepted Answer

For items £500 and above, we take a 50% deposit to secure your slot, and the remaining 50% is due once your commission is completed, before shipping. Items under £500 are paid in full upfront.

Question 7

Is the deposit refundable?

Accepted Answer

No — the deposit is non-refundable, as it reserves your slot and covers initial materials.

Question 8

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Production currently takes around 10 to 13 weeks from when your slot begins. We'll keep you updated with work-in-progress photos along the way.

Question 9

Will I see progress photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We send WIP photos at key stages and confirm major details with you before moving on.

Question 10

Do I need a DTD (Duct Tape Dummy)?

Accepted Answer
